Tried to go blonde...ended up orange!

I bleached my brown hair and it turned a yellowy-orange. It looks very unnatural and wrong for my skin color. I plan on deep conditioning for a few days and then trying another color that says it minimizes orange and see if it comes out better, but I'm scared that will make it worse. Any suggestions (besides going to a salon).

I did exaclty the same thing - but my hair had been died brown so it was even oranger ! i had to get a hair dressers out and she put back to back foils in to try and lighten the colour , in the end i had to get her to come back and had brown put through witch realy helped break up the yellow orange mess id made !
