Yes, that was my hair color after dying my lightish brown hair to blonde using Born Blonde Maxi by Clairol. I must admit I did not follow the directions re: snipping 3 pieces of hair and timing it and I did not read the part about doing your roots for half the time so my ignorance resulted in the title of my post. I was cocky b/c I have been coloring my hair blonde since I was 13 and never had a problem.

Well I had medium brown hair and bleached it using Live Absolute Platinum... However my roots went yellow and the rest of it was still brown, I definitely covered it all.. I even used 2 packs to make sure. So, I've tried it again with Jerome Russell BBlonde - Covered the lengths and ends of my hair first and then did my roots and left them on for a short amount of time.. However - the lengths are still darker than the roots. Its really uneven and I don't know what to do?

I used a color / highlighter combination mix where I highlighted the top of my head like a one big bowl. To rectify it I used a color removal kit all my head instead of the top and left it on to long. My hair got damaged and turned a orange blond mess. Then I still proceeded to color my hair with a medium brownish. My results were okay more on the red side, however I got patches now. Some spots are blond, some dark, some red. Is there any way to fix that?

i attempted to die my hair platinum blonde using the live hair colour, it looked ok yesterday but today it seems to have a brassy and gingerish look to it, now i want to go to a light brown or a light reddy brown, any tips? without my hair turning green or going bright pink

Like most, I have been thinking about bleaching my hair myself. [Next month after my christmas holiday begins. Id like to be platinum before new year]
My hair is a light/medium brown and used to have a slight redish tint but I think it has pretty much faded out.

I was going to get a stripper/pre-lightener soon and strip out my current hair color and depending on the results color over it with a light/platinum blonde.

Then until next month get it in top notch form for the bleaching.

I tried dying my hair yesterday, as my roots were bad! i have mid-dark blonde hair. I used loreal - natural blonde but my roots have turned ginger!! My mother said if i put more dye over it then it may make it worse, any suggestions? x

i've been dying my hair ever since i can remember. right now my hair is light blonde, and my roots are light/medium brown. i want to just completely grow my color out. is there any way to speed up this process or hide my roots? every time i try to dye my hair the color of my roots the color comes out weird and eventually oxidizes. helpp!?
