My normal hair colour was getting dull, so my sister went to buy a hair dye for me. i am a natural medium brunette and i went for ash brown with blonde highlights... well, once i dryed my hair, it was ginger/ orange!!! i dyed my hair with a light brown, it did nothing... i dyed my hair chocolate brown and that washed away. these were all permanent dyes. my mum won't buy anything and i wanna do it at home, something easy, quick and make my hair natural again! Help me!!!

I had my hair done at the hairdressers a couple of days ago with red and blonde highlights ( permanent) but unfortunately the red highlights are so bright they are almost pink!!
I have bought a dark blonde permanent colour but am unsure whether to risk putting it on or not. Can anyone tell me how this is likely to turn out?
If unadvisable does anyone know how to tone it down without another costly trip to the hairdresser?!!

my hair is a really dark brown and i have dyed it alot of times if i put a pre lightener on it and then put like a white blonde hair dye on top will it go blonde or orange pleasee helppp xx

I am getting desperate as I am 31 years old and for some time now my hair has fallen out more than it should (e.g. blocks bath and all over carpets getting onto hoover). My hair used to be lovely and thick but over the years it has really thinned out and now I have noticed it is breaking quite far up my head so hair all different lengths. I have been taking Silica tablets to improve the condition but not much difference. Can you please help???

I used a colour i liked as it was already coloured the same and found a colour to put on that was the colour already on my hair. i asumed it was light enough to do full colour. The roots were darker and it told me to put on roots for 15 mins and put on the ends for 5. It changed it but did'nt do the colour as it said on the colour chart. It was left on 1hr n should of been 20 it should of been a very light blonde but ended up like an dark blonde and the roots were a tint of orange. should i have pre lightened it 1st although it was blonde. what do i do to rectify it. without damaging it

my hair is nautrally a reddish brown . I've been dyeing my hair strawberry blond and it started turning blond from the sun and the reddish color wasn't there anymore . so i decided to dye it blond since that was the color it was turning i dyed it ash blond and it tinted green

I was trying to go blonder, but when I used a light blond hair color, it turned my hair too yellow. So I thought that if I put ash blond over it, it should make it just right. But it didn't! Where my hair had highlights, the color turned grey. How do I get my very blond highlights back? Bleach? Color?

I live in Thailand and find it really hard for a hairdresser to do highlights.They have bleach but its probably years old and they dont have any toners to use afterwards so its really hit and miss to get a good bleach job or highlights. I go back to UK 3 times a year and have to stock up on products, not just for myself but for half the western female population who live here (we're all in the same boat). My friend is a hairdresser in UK and can get me bleach etc and I can buy all the toners and colours in Boots or elsewhere, but can you recommend products that wont fade in the sunshine here.

I had dark hair for a long time and had recently put a black permanent on. I then had a change of heart and decided to go blonde. I bleach bathed my hair twice a day for a week (I know its silly). I have now put a lightest ash blonde on my hair and in certain light my hairs looks a lovely colour. Only problem is, I still have ginger and a brassiness tint going through parts of my hair! What do I do for the best? I have been told to use lemon juice, or SunIn lightener spray. I definetly don't want to bleach it again so what should I do? All suggestions welcome!
